The first grant round for 2023 opens on 1 April, 2023 to local clubs, community groups and associations. This grant applies only to non-profit groups in the Samford Valley and surrounding districts area who are volunteer run. Grants are provided for specific projects and must not be used to pay for general expenses such as rent. Part funding of projects will also be eligible. Preference will be given to organisations that have not received recent grant funding from the SDPPA.
If you have any questions about the process, or whether your project would be eligible, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
All applicants must complete a Grant Application Form which can be found in the Community Grants link on our website: www.samfordprogress.org.au. Please read the eligibility criteria carefully, complete the Application Form and send it to Secretary, SDPPA, PO Box 94, Samford Qld 4520, or email email@example.com.
Applications close at midnight on Sunday 30 April 2023. Successful applicants will be notified in writing and a notice will also appear in The Village Pump.
These grants are made possible through our fantastic advertisers in The Village Pump. It is through profits from advertising revenue that grant funds are allocated to support so many local services each year. We encourage you to support our advertisers as they support this community.
Come and join us
Did you know that the SDPPA has been serving Samford and surrounding areas for more than 50 years? Our projects include the Samford Eco-Corridor, Samford Edible Garden Trail, Samford Live and Christmas on Main Street, as well as supporting Samford Landcare and other environmental projects and initiatives. We also produce this newspaper each fortnight.
Our members are people just like you – but we need more people – because the more people that join us, the more great things we can do together. If you’d like to learn more and get involved in the progress and protection of your community, come to one of our monthly meetings, held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 7pm at the Samford Community Hub (SCHUB). Find out more at www.samfordprogress.org.au or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’d love to meet you.
