Once a year, over one inspiring weekend, our most inspiring edible gardens in Samford and surrounding areas, open their gates to the public. And it’s on again! This year we are pleased to announce we have 14 open edible gardens – 8 of them open for the first time to the public!
So whether you’ve been on the Trail before or this will be your first time, you will be sure to love it.

Each garden has been selected to showcase something unique about edible gardening. From swales to raised beds; from chicken mansions to chicken domes; annuals to perennials – you can find it all, and learn so much and have fun while you are at it.

We need volunteers each day to help on a garden Welcome Desk. We get feedback every year that it is a lot of fun, plus you get a limited edition purple trail t-shirt, a free ticket to the Trail (so you don’t miss out on seeing the gardens), and best of all, we give you a morning tea treat made by the lovely team at Samford CWA. Register your interest in being a volunteer via the website, or email samfordegt@gmail.com

Dates: Saturday 20th May – Sunday 21st May 2023.
Tickets: Adult weekend ticket $20. Adult weekend concession ticket $15. Kids under 16 are free.
